We’re working with a modern, specialist joinery/carpentry firm based near Hitchin who are looking for their next CAD setter out.

They are looking for an experienced Setter Out to join their Design team. Applicants will need to have knowledge of AutoCAD and experience in the joinery sector (ideal candidate will have a trade background).

They are looking for an experienced CAD Technician, who can produce high end joinery drawings right the way from initial client briefs/site surveys through to manufacturing and assembly.

You will be;

• Producing high end joinery/construction setting out drawings from designer / architect drawings for ultimate use as manufacturing drawings
• Clarify instructions received to ensure work is carried out accurately/right first time
• Ensure drawings and cutting sheets are produced and distributed in a timely manner
• Make sure any revisions / amendments are reported in a timely manner

You will have;

• Experienced in AutoCAD
• Experienced in the joinery sector
• Ability to produce precise joinery/workshop drawings and accurate cutting lists.

Salary is dependent upon experience.
