Civil Engineer (Drainage/Infrastructure) – Cardiff

Job description:

We are currently looking to recruit a Civil Engineering Technician for our Infrastructure Team based in Cardiff. Working with Clients in both the Public and Private sectors, the team provide services ranging from site appraisals and feasibility studies to detailed design of roads and drainage schemes associated with a variety of retail, educational, commercial and residential developments.

The ideal candidate will have 4/5 years of post-graduate experience.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Preparation of drawings to reflect accurate and practical engineering solutions using AutoCAD/Civil 3D
• Assist with the preparation of technical and pre-planning reports
• Provide technical support to other members of the team
• Liaison with Water Authorities, Highway Authorities and Planning Departments regarding technical issues and associated adoption agreements

 Skills and Experience: 

• The ideal candidate should be educated to HNC/HND level or have significant relevant/equivalent experience
• Experienced in the use of AutoCAD in a Consultant Engineering Environment
• Experience with UK design principles and standards.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Micro Drainage and Auto Track
