Assistant Building Surveyor - Cardiff - £18,000 My client is looking for a Graduate Building Surveyor that offer; experience, knowledge and excitement within the role. The Assistant Building Surveyor role will be based in Cardiff, as part of a close-knit team, dedicated to the professional, innovative and extensive services to building consultancy within the residential and commercial sector. The Role The successful Assistant Building Surveyor will aid alongside a senior building surveyor on a diversity of building surveying services within the residential and commercial sector. This assistance will be provided through a variety of daily duties, these daily duties include; * Building Surveys * Inspections * Dilapidations * Party Wall services * Property defects * AutoCAD * Expert Witness * Boundary Disputes My client, is a specialist in Listed Buildings and Conservation, the Assistant Building Surveyor will work on; * Listed Building Surveys * Alteration and Repairs * Project work on Listed Building * Conversion of Listed Buildings The Requirements * Have a (RICS accredited) Building Surveying degree * At least one year's post graduate experience within Building Surveying. * Have the ambition to achieve Chartered Building Surveyor status * Have a good level of I.T skills The Company The Assistant Building Surveyor will join a reputable company with 30 years' experience and are recognised within Wales and across the UK for their provision of design, project management and construction expertise. Recent projects include historical listed buildings, and renovation and conversion of old farm buildings and chapels into residential and commercial properties. You will be working for a company that experience repeated work on Listed Buildings due to their skilful care on historical buildings. My client, experts in their field are looking to pass on their skilful knowledge to the successful Graduate Building Surveyor through their APC. You will be offered a basic salary of £18,000, and dedicated APC training with an experienced Senior Chartered surveyor.
