Asbestos Bulk Analyst - BOHS P401 Worthing, Sussex A NEW opportunity has arisen for an Asbestos Bulk Analyst to join a nationally recognised and one of the UK's leading multi-disciplined consultancies at their Sussex based office. With over 30 years of industry presence and a recent acquisition with an international Environmental Testing and Technology consultancy, our client maintains its accreditations for Asbestos Surveying, Testing, Air Monitoring and Sampling procedures, now with the ability as a vendor to work alongside and offer Asbestos consultancy services in the Retail sector. You will be based within the Sussex office. This Asbestos Bulk Analyst opportunity will see you conduct a range of Bulk Identification and Analysis of Bulk Samples procedures within a UKAS accredited Laboratory, following all HSE standards. You will also utilise Stereo Polarised Light Microscopy techniques for all Bulk Sampling / Bulk Analytical procedures and maintaining the HSG:248 Asbestos Analysts guide. To be considered for this Asbestos Bulk Analyst opportunity, you will need: * BOHS P401 Identification of Asbestos in Bulk Samples (PLM) certificate * 12 months of practical and theoretical knowledge and involvement * Strong communication skills both verbal and written * Experience of Stereo & Polarised Light Microscopy * Possession of a full UK driving license On offer for your expertise on this Asbestos Bulk Analyst opportunity, you will be offered a salary of up to £20,000 per annum, subject to experience, including access to a pension scheme, health care options and flexible overtime options.
