Trainee Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst - Hinckley, Leicestershire A new opportunity has arisen for a driven, enthusiastic and forward thinking individual to join a leading Asbestos and Environmental consultancy at their Leicestershire based office due rapid expansion! This is a fantastic opportunity to start a new career within the Environmental sector as an Asbestos disciplined specialist, undergoing full BOHS accredited training and undertaking relevant qualifications, working in line with highly trained and experienced professionals in the sector. Key qualities and requirements: * Ideally from an Environmental based background but not essential * Possession of the BOHS P402 certificate is desirable but NOT essential * A positive attitude to work and flexibility to travel in and around the East Midlands * Possess hunger and drive to start a career in the Asbestos sector and progress within the role * GCSE Mathematics / English / College level qualifications * Hold a full UK driving license * Strong IT and communication skills Key duties as a Trainee Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst: * Undertake the BOHS P402 qualification and full initial training within the role * Shadow a Lead Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst for Management, Refurbishment/Demolition type Surveying and/or Air Monitoring, Fibre Counting and 4-Stage Clearance Testing training * Visit and travel across various East Midlands based projects * Take part in regular training and business updates * Liaise with clients on site for further developments and report to managers when required On offer, is a fantastic starting basic from £15,000 up to £17,000 depending on experience, with an attractive benefits package and further career development opportunities into a Lead position and cross training into other disciplines with the Environmental sector!
