Town Planner | Bedford

Title: Town Planner Location: Bedford Salary: £22,000 to £27,000 Local based Planning and Development consultancy are actively looking for a skilled Town Planner who ideally has 12/18 months commercial experience to join their Planning department and be trained in all aspects of the planning process as well as be encouraged to work towards their full RTPI membership. You will be trained in all aspects of the Planning process and will work on projects that are based around Renewable Energy, Waste and Minerals, Heritage and Conservation. The majority of work will be around the East of England and at first you will be office based but will eventually also get to be based on site. You will report to an Associate Planner and will be giving guidelines on all aspects of your work. To apply you will ideally have a degree and post graduate qualification in Town Planning. This will be RTPI accredited as the company will put you through your membership. Experience in either the Public or Private sector work and in particular development control and policy work would be beneficial.
