About this Role:
We are looking to recruit a Public Liaison officer for an immediate start to work for a principle contractor working on a highways scheme in Essex. Ideally you will have previous experience of working as a public liaison officer for a construction company, either civil engineering, residential building or construction consultancy. You will work site based alongside an experience team including project manager and senior site manager. You will be required to proactively identify business in the area and residents living nearby in order to explain what works are being carried out, how long for and advise of any potential disturbances. Therefore, the position will suit someone with good communications skills and IT skills. Part of the role will involve designing and producing newsletters and leaflets in order to keep fluid communications to the local community across several different work sites.
Although, this is a freelance/contract opportunity it does have potential for temporary to permanent position.

The company are a tier one national contractor working across the civil engineering, building, power, marine and water schemes.
Requirements including certificates and qualifications:
Ideally you will have a current CSCS card, construction experience and have your own vehicle.
Candidates must be able to prove their eligibility to work in the UK
