Architectural Technician - (Office Manager)

Architectural Technician / Architectural Technologist with curtain walling, façade or glazing experience is required to work for a well-established, highly recognised fenestration and curtain walling company based in Milton Keynes. The company specialise in the supply & design of curtain walling, architectural aluminium and building facades. The most suitable Architectural Technician will have great customer service experience behind them as they will be working closely alongside customers to discuss high technical enquires and cost-effective design proposals via telephone and email. The Architectural Technician will be highly proficient in AutoCAD and have some practical experience working with Revit or BIM. As an Architectural Technician you will have proven industry experience and a good understating of the building regulations relating to the workings of window, door and curtain-walling systems. The role could also suit a CAD Technician, Part qualified architect, architectural technician or architectural technology graduate that is looking for a progressive role within a blue-chip organisation. Architectural Technician / Architectural Technologist Position Overview * Produce high end drawings and AutoCAD design proposals * Answer email, fax and verbal technical queries * Assess applications for oversize windows and doors * Technical design questions from customers, the company's sales team and installers. * Attend meetings to discuss customer requirements Architectural Technician / Architectural Technologist Position Requirements * Previous work experience of using AutoCAD / Revit (desirable) * Knowledge of curtain walling, window, door design experience * Clean Driving License * Previous experience working with customers via telephone and email Architectural Technician / Architectural Technologist Position Remuneration * Salary £35,000 - £45,000 (DOE) * 25 days' holiday + Bank Holidays * Pension * Company Benefits Join us on Twitter, Facebook or LinkedIn - Search Bennett and Game Recruitment.
