Job Description
We are recruiting for an electrical or HVAC biased engineering supervisor to take ownership of a maintenance operation within a facility in the Blackpool area.
This will involve all building services maintenance supervision plus client liaison and compliance management and hands-on duties.
On Offer:
The Site Manager will be paid a basic salary of circa 33-35k. Mon-Fri 40 hours per week, standard days. The role is a permanent position with associated package. The client is an international FM and Building Solutions company with an excellent portfolio
Description:
The electrical site manager will supervisor and manage the maintenance operations on the facility, building services plant duties and associated kit to include:
- Electrical Distribution
- Lighting
- BMS and controls
- Emergency, security and Fire systems
- HVAC
- AHU systems
and general building services equipment
The position will require the supervision of:
- In-House engineers including fabric and mechanical
- Mobile engineers on site
- Sub-contractors and project engineers
The role will involve providing assistance to the Contracts Manager regarding
- budget and logistics control
- compliance and health and safety
- man-management and HR requirements
- role planning and maintenance planning
- operating SAP system and job sheet monitoring/creation plus purchase order generation
Also direct liaison with the end user/client is required:
- company representation
- technical advice and suggestions
- auditing and SLA monitoring
- Ensure all contract obligations are met
Requirements:
Qualified engineer in electrical or HVAC discipline
Experience of Site Management/Supervision
Experience of Maintenance operations
Experience of back office systems such as SAP and job management
Excellent client liaison and customer service approach
Willingness to complete hands-on tasks
