QUANTITY SURVEYOR PRINCIPLE CONTRACTOR VACANCY Location: Essex (CM19) Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 depending on experience About the Quantity Surveyor Principle Contractor Company: Our client is a medium sized principle contractor who have been established for over 50 years and have been growing consistently since. They specialise in internal fit-outs and refurbishments, including education, healthcare, residential and specialist projects. Their growth has been largely due to their reputation for a focus on quality and delivering cost effective work. About the Quantity Surveyor Principle Contractor Opportunity: The duties of the successful Quantity Surveyor will include but not be exclusive of: - Tender pricing and take offs - BoQ’s and scope off work production - Tendering meeting attendance - Site visits and foreman meetings - Commercial management of projects - Monthly valuation preparation - Cost control of projects - Procurement & placement of bespoke material costs - Relationship building with main contractors, design team and suppliers Requirements for the Quantity Surveyor Principle Contractor: The position will suit a candidate who is either an up and coming Assistant Quantity Surveyor or an experienced Quantity Surveyor.
