Senior Quantity Surveyor required by Principal Contractor working across new build, refurbishments, extensions, alterations, planned and cyclical maintenance projects. SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR – PRINCIPAL CONTRACTOR VACANCY Location: Bedfordshire LU4 Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 plus benefit package About the Senior Quantity Surveyor – Principal Contractor Company: Our client has a turnover of over £15 million and individual projects valuing in excess of £5 million, as a main contractor with over 20 years experience in sectors including Residential, Education, Health, Heritage, Leisure, Social Housing and Commercial this is a unique opportunity for anyone looking to progress their quantity surveying career and gain valuable sector and project experience. About the Senior Quantity Surveyor – Principal Contractor Opportunity: The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for delivering projects on-time without sacrificing quality and the values of the organisation. The average project size is £3.5 million, and the Senior Quantity Surveyor will be expected to travel around the London and South East for regular site visits. The Senior Quantity Surveyor job role will include; -Supervision and development of Quantity Surveyors -Ensuring that all HS&E standards, company policies and processes are followed. -Monitor and manage all cost control within the project -Manage relationships with customers and sub-contractors -Negotiate sub contractor packages -Manage project status report -Prepare and negotiate interim valuations Requirements for the Senior Quantity Surveyor – Principal Contractor: You will need to have experience of working on a refurbishment and/or build projects as a Senior Quantity Surveyor.
