Job Description
A main contractor with a turnover more than £80m is currently hiring a Site Manager. The business has over 30 years' experience delivering super prime residential projects for high net worth clients in Central London. Because of continuously delivering quality projects, most of their work is repeat business and from a group of individuals who are continuously developing super prime dwellings in Central London.
The Site Manager will initially be working in a roving role going to different projects to get an understanding of the way they work before then being given their own project which could be worth up to £5m.
As Site Manager, you will be responsible for:
* Health and Safety - Ensure that the company's health and safety policies are adhered to
* Managing subcontractors - Building relationships with established subcontractors
* Planning and program - Build short term programs
* Reporting - Build progress reports for management
* General day to day of ensuring that all personnel are happy and delivering a good project
Required skills and experience:
* Experience working for another UK main contractor in a similar operational role
* Can successfully demonstrate key success stories on delivering other UK based projects
* Proven ability to deliver super prime residential schemes
* Industry recognized qualifications - HND, Degree or trades background
* Must have up to date tickets - SMSTS, CSCS card, First Aid at Work etc.
* Strong leadership and communication skills
