Position: Logistics Manager
Location: Kent
Position: My client is looking for a High Calibre Logistics Manager to manage and coordinate all logistical issues relating to the Project. The Role will also require liaison with Local Neighbours and the Local Authority to suit the needs of the Project. The Logistics Manager shall be Site based and ultimately report to the Project Director, but will have a Key interface with the Project Managers and their teams.
Qualifications / Experience: Construction Background, Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role
Responsibilities: Formulation, implementation, development and review of Project Logistics Plan to suit the needs of the Project. Initial Site Set up and all adaptions required to suit needs of the Project. Liaison and Point of contact with Residential and Business neighbours Liaison and Point of contact with Local Authority Environmental / Construction Impact Team. Liaison and Point of contact with Local Emergency Services, particularly Police. Production and arrange distribution of regular Newsletter to Neighbours. Formulation, implementation, development and review of Project Waste Management Plan. Formulation, implementation, development and review of the Project Traffic Management Plan. Formulation, implementation, development and review of Tenant's Retail Fit Out Guide including the interaction of Tenants Contractors during the Construction Phase. On Site Management of all Logistical Issues including
but not limited to - Deliveries, Plant & Traffic Movements, Waste Management and Attendant Support Labour Workforce
