Mechanical Project Supervisor Central London Construction- Main Contractor Freelance Negotiable 12 months Currently looking for a freelance Mechanical Project Supervisor on behalf of a large M&E Contractor for a commercial project based in Central London. The Person Proven track record as an Mechanical Project Supervisor HNC/D qualified preferable - recognised training scheme 3-4 years experience Technical ability Attending and taking part in technical meetings Confident to lead the team of engineers and take a hands on approach The Role Liaising with the main contractor, ensuring work areas are ready and available to suit the programme, keeping records of site progress Working alongside other Project Managers, taking a lead role in either an element of the shell and core or fit out works Selecting plant and kit to meet the specified requirements and system design, reviewing system designs and being able to identify deficiencies and work through finding solutions Managing specialist subcontract package/s, agreeing work plans, setting targets, monitoring progress and helping to find solutions Self-motivated and able to take control of works and work within a team structure Set manageable look ahead targets and have input into contract reports
