PROJECT/CONTRACTS MANAGER Our established client, are a leading RC Frame contractor with projects across the UK and Ireland, who are specialists in large scale construction and modular build redevelopment. Their business models prides itself on delivering success on behalf of Clients and they achieve this by providing a completely integrated service that is focused from inception to completion. With a sharp upturn in projects, our client would like to appoint a senior project/contracts manager to oversee and deliver on a number of commercial projects across central London, including a £12m new build office and various residential new builds across London and the Northern Home Counties. you will be responsible for overseeing up to 6-8 projects concurrently. The successful Contracts Manager / senior Project Manager will take responsibility for the management of teams of site managers who carry out works from inception to completion, ensuring that a consistently high level of client satisfaction is delivered and maintained. The successful candidate will have a steady work history on projects across the UK with experience in manageing RC Frame projects and possess a flexible, methodical and conscientious approach. Reporting to the senior contracts manager, this is an important position within the company with excellent prospects for long term development and progression. As such our client is only considering candidates on a full time perm basis and will regrettably not consider freelancers at this time. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualities: RC FRame contactor experience, overseeing RC FRame residential and commercial projects from £5m upwards Experience in dealing with Contract negotiations with clients Writing method statements and risk assessments Finding workable solutions to problems as they arise Experience in a similar role as a Contracts Manager or Project Manager Experience in overseeing / managing teams of workers Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills Excellent organisation skills and a fine eye for detail. Be numerate with good report writing skills The ability to impart instructions clearly and lead and motivate your teams Be a good problem solver, able to prioritise and manage your time efficiently and meet deadlines. Have a flexible, methodical and conscientious approach. This is a key role and the client wishes to interview and appoint ASAP.
