Due to expansion ou client wishes to appoint an experienced Procurement Manager to oversee the procurement of Architectural Steel on a number of civil,. rail and build projects.
Overview
Delivering the procurement input required on pre-qualifications, tenders and projects as required.
Contribute to the supply chain strategy
Tender sub-contract and materials
Engage with suppliers and produce reports on tender submissions
Liase with project teams on subcontract and materials procurement
Write strategy for key packages Set procurement schedule
Check subcontract documentation on key trades compiled by the Quantity Surveyor prior to issue. C
Contribute to the effective & sustainable management of the supply chain
The Successful Applicant
Previous experience of procurement within a construction, civil engineering or rail environment is essential
Experience in procurement of build and civil materials including steel is essential Excellent
Commercially astute
Ability to work autonomously
