Role Summary: The key focus of this role is to lead a team in the construction and maintenance of underground Telecommunication networks Working closely with the Actavo Civil Manager whom in turn reports to the Operations Project and Program Manager. As a Supervisor you will be responsible for the Management of the Civils program. With respect to Actavo field management working on FTTH Network Construction Builds. You will also be responsible for the management of the adherence to quality and H&S standards and ensuring client satisfaction with services provided by Actavo. Responsibilities: * Ensuring team compliance of Company/Legislative Health , Safety and Environmental policies * Completing all works to the required Company, Client and local authorities standards * Compliance with road opening licenses * Ensuring team compliance with road works Signing , lighting and guarding * The ordering of all required materials * The Excavation and Reinstatement of the public highway for the laying of communication ducting , Construction of Under chambers and the erection of Communication street side cabinets * The clearance of Sites * Your team's daily work site progress * The timely updating of electronic job packs * Good upkeep of issued vehicle plant/equipment * Liaising with affected third parties Requirements: * 3+ Years industry experience, Utilities a major advantage * Ability to communicate effectively and command respect * Computer literate - intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel * Ability to work flexible hours and overtime when necessary * Reliable, flexible to travel as necessary * Ability to represent the company in a professional manner at all times * Exposure to power industry or telecoms as distinct advantage * Commercially focused professional with the ability to work to deadlines * Excellent communicator and able to liaise with all levels of the organization as well as the client * Full, clean driving license About us: Actavo employs over 6,000 skilled employees through a network of 100 offices within the UK, Ireland, Eastern Europe, The Caribbean and the United States.
