PV Design/Technical Specialist

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, qualified and experienced commercial PV design and estimator, for an ongoing project in the East Anglia region. You will be heavily involved in a new framework agreement that will see 30MW of solar farms, to be installed over the next 12 months. The role is to assist the commercial development managers in producing high quality PV tenders with full technical designs complying with 17th edition electrical regulations and the DTI design guide. you will be working from electrical specifications, energy reports and plans to produce accurate PV solutions. You will be required to attend site surveys and meetings when necessary. Requirements and Skills * Must have a minimum 1 year commercial MW PV design experience * 17th Edition Electrical Regulations qualification * CAD and PV Sol experience * Produce electrical designs from specifications and surveys * NVQ or City & Guilds in electrical installation * Central Inverter and HV experience would be advantageous * ECS card or CSCS * Smart appearance and good communication skills essential * Driving Licence * Diploma/Certificate Required experience: * commercial megawatt PV design experience: 1 year Required licence or certification: Driving License Our client is happy to consider workers nationwide, who are happy to work away, and lodge allowance will be incorporated into any rate
