Job Description
Our client, a national housing association are actively recruiting for a multi trade operative to join the organisation on a contract to permanent basis.
Working specifically within the responsive repairs team, the role will require high levels of customer service coupled with a strong trade background.
A van/fuel card will be provided, however initially candidates will require their own tools. Taking and logging work on a handheld tablet / PDA the right candidate will be computer literate.
Working in occupied properties on a variety of first time fix jobs a varied skillset is required.
Primarily candidates will need to be qualified in Carpentry with supporting experience of plumbing / patch plastering/ painting / base brick work would be desirable.
A valid driving licence is a must, and candidate will need to complete a basic Asbestos awareness certificate, this can be obtained at the start of the contract however.
