Project Director/Business Development Manager

Job Title - Project Director/Business Development Manager Salary - £60k-£80k + package + bonuses Location - Fulham Client There is a unique opportunity for a senior construction professional to help grow the construction/project arm of a highly reputable company. Our client currently specialise in fit & refurb projects and also planned and maintenance works. The 2 directors of the company have a long term goal of growing the business to become a well known contractor in the prime parts of London and are hoping to venture into more new builds type projects. They are looking for an individual who can help them win new business and then project manage the projects. Ideally we are looking for a Project Director with excellent commercial ability, as a big part of the role will be dealing with tenders and dealing with clients, however, a Senior Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager with Project Management experience may also be suitable. The candidate will have an excellent reputation in London and also would have built up an extensive contact list over their career. Essentially you will be running a separate part of their business and you will be given a lot of responsibility. You will not be micro managed and you will run your week as you see fit. If you feel its beneficial to be out of the office all week meeting with clients and building up new contacts, then that's your choice. The candidate will be incentivised will built in bonuses and commission which would be closely linked to the amount of new business brought in and of course turnover. This will obviously be on top of your high base salary.
