Quantity Surveyor / Contract Administrator Cardiff c£40,000 + benefits package Are you looking for an exciting new opportunity in South Wales? This is a unique position for a talented Quantity Surveyor / Contract Administrator to work collaboratively with a team of experts in their field in a friendly and vibrant office environment. The role will require a full Quantity Surveying/Contract Administration service in either Design or Build or Traditional procurement routes. The successful candidate will be heavily involved the responsibility of running projects from inception to completion, working closely with the client and the rest of the project team to achieve objectives and value for money in terms of time, cost, quality, flexibility and risk. Excellent communication skills coupled with strong time management and the ability to build sound relationships with clients and key stake holders is key to this role. The pre-contract role will involve the preparation of cost estimates, cost planning, cost advice, tender document and contract document preparation. Report writing, the chairing of meetings and taking of minutes. The role may also involve providing advice to clients, appointing members of the design team, vetting and inviting contractors to tender. The post –contract role will involve cost control and payments on projects, the administration of the build contract, monitoring the building programme, quality of workmanship, reporting to clients, taking delivery of projects and where applicable seeing them through the CQC, Estyn or Ofsted registration process
