Job Description

Senior Project Manager Senior Project Manager required for a luxury developer who have been established in and around London for 20 years. In the market place they have one of the best names in the industry. Their projects are all bespoke large luxury housing projects. Job requirements include: * To manage efficiently a team of Build, Technical and Surveying Managers in accordance with the Companies Health & Safety Policy * Vet Subcontractors prior to appointment to ensure that they are capable of achieving required standards * Monitor standards of workmanship on site visits. * Carry out quality control audits of work in progress with the Customers Care Manager at a maximum of two monthly intervals by site. * Ensure that Project Managers properly maintain Quality Stage Checklists. * Ensure that the units are accepted by the After Sales Department before occupation. * Augment Product Training sessions and ensure manufacturers' information is available on site. * Ensure Construction and Project Managers have adequate training and understanding of NHBC and Building Regulations. * Ensure all materials are properly taken off, ordered in sufficient time, scheduled and stored. * Ensure that the Company's waste and Protection Policies are properly implemented * To ensure that the programmed ORPC (Oversight, Roof, Plaster & Completion) dates are achieved for individual plots and the Block as a whole meets with the PEP (Project Execution Plan) with the Planner * Responsibility of cost management and signing off works at the appropriate stage of the works, likewise adjudicating with the Surveyor over any claims arising. * Present fortnightly report to Commercial and Construction Director on programme, cost and procurement with detail and forecast dates for ensuing period. * Identify and carry out risk assessments * To ensure that all building operations are carried out in a safe manner and that proper welfare facilities are provided. * Maintain presentation of site * To ensure that sites operate efficiently and that costs that are affected by Project Management are contained within budget. * Ensure that all works carried out comply with the relevant drawings and specification. Previous experience of working as a Senior Project Manager for a main contractor is vital, and you will need to have at least 6-10 years working in residential construction. Attention to detail is a crucial quality for the ideal candidate to have as is excellent organisation. Strong communication skills are also essential.
