Contracts Manager

My client a specialist in civils and highways maintenance require a Contracts Manager to oversee works from pricing tenders to completion. You’ll have an excellent understanding of the construction industry, previous experience in drainage, civils and highways is essential. The role requires contract management experience including technical, commercial & contractual processes. You’ll be involved in the negotiation and procurement of sub-contractor labour, plant & materials. Overview Managing own contracts (from initial handover to final account) Reporting in to Company Directors (Progress and Financial) Pre-Order Meeting with Clients and Contract negotiation Ensuring all sites are ran profitably and safely Requirements Sound knowledge of groundworks / drainage / civils / highways and a good understanding of the technical, commercial and contractual processes involved Previous experience of the civil engineering industry Commercially astute Full driving licence
