Architectural Technician/Technologist

I am currently recruiting for an Architectural Technician to join a rapidly expanding, succesful company based in Enfield, North London. This opportunity for an Architectural Technician is to work for a Multi-Disciplinairy property and construction consultancy. The company are relatively small and if succesful, you would be joining a team of 3 other Architectural staff in a company with 20 employees in. As an Architectural Technologist you will be required to develop schemes from Architects concept drawings through to the planning stage this will involve technical drawings, specification and tender documentation. The Architectural Technologist will be given smaller projects to run in full and you will receive input from the Associate Architect and Directors. This role requires an individual with Housing and Education experience to develop and expand the companies portfolio. The opportunity would suit a knowledgeable individual with 3 years experience of working with UK Building Regulations and strong technical knowledge (SCIAT). The practice are currently working using AutoCAD however they are looking to move into REVIT so this would be advantageous. Architectural Technician Position Overview * Work on developing schemes from the Architects Concept drawings through to planning stage. * Producing technical drawings, specification and tender documentations. * Assist in expanding the company's portfolio. * Run smaller projects within the consultancy using your knowledge of planning process, Building Regulations. Architectural Technician Position Requirements * 3 years previous experience working with the UK building regulations * Strong Technical Knowledge SCIAT * Fluent in AutoCAD and ideally REVIT * Experience of Planning process and Building Regulations * Knowledge of the Housing and Education sector * Living in North London.
