My Client is a top 10 Main Contractor in the UK that Specialises in new build housing mainly in the social sector. They are currently searching for an experienced Technical Coordinator for one of their new build housing projects based in Stansted.
They pride themselves on design excellence and quality build to which keeps their clients happy each project. This has been recognised through several major industry awards. They contract to various housing associations and local councils and each project has been given good feedback from their clients explaining their constant growth.
This will be to join a growing team within the New Homes side of the bussiness which is expanding. their projects generally go up to £25million and the majority will be traditional build. Experience in traditional build residential projects.
Responsibilities the role will include are;
-Managing internal and external relationships with bid teams and specialist advisers
-Reporting progress and issues to the Technical Director
-Liaising with the appropriate internal departments
-Liaising with regional businesses through agreed channels -BDM to gain market intelligence
-Supporting the production and maintenance of a project bid budget-Integrating central resources with regional business unit resources on project specific basis
-Supporting regional business units in:
-Liaising with specialist advisers of Production and coordination of contractor proposals -Attendance at procurement process and Coordination of information with partners
-Production of bid programs and action plans
-Increasing understanding of the market and positions in the sector
