Site Agent

We are looking to recruit a site agent for a circa £1m S278 highways project in west yorkshire lasting up to 7 months. Scope of works - Widening of existing carriageway and forming of a new entrance to a development site, this includes new highway construction, diversion of a major dyke, construction of a bridge over the dyke and associated, ducting, kerbing, street lighting etc. Roles and Responsibilities Reporting to Contracts Manager Managing all aspects of Health, Safety and Environment Aspects - including RAMS, Lifting plans, Coshh etc Managing and updating programme of works Close liaison with client/designers/highway authorities and other third party/interested parties Management and coordination of utilities Management and organising of direct labour force Management of specialist subcontractors i.e. piling, surfacing etc Procurement and ordering of materials Keeping accurate daily records Minimum Qualifications; Engineering background CSCS NRSWA SMSTS First Aid Calibre Search promotes equality in the workplace and acts as both an employment agency and employment business
