The Client
The client are a leading national contractor, who after successfully delivering on various nationwide maintenance and building refurbishment contracts, have steadily grown into a multi-disciplinary, award winning group. Who provide an excellent choice for all their clients' and are split into different divisions for maintenance, improvement, new build and refurbishment.
The business has developed and grown consistently over the past 10 years to become one of the countries' market leading responsive and planned maintenance contractors solutions to the social housing markets.
The opportunity
The client are seeking an ambitious and driven Quantity Surveyor to join their rapidly growing and successful team, to aid delivery on a number of planned and responsive maintenance and refurbishment social housing contracts across the East Midlands.

Key Skills required within this role:
• Evaluation of contract documentation
• Setting out bills of quantities.
• Working to a schedule of rates.
• Site monitoring & progression reports
• Completing and agreeing monthly variations and valuations
• On going and Post contract administration.
• Working within a customer focused team.
• Good at problem solving and providing effective solutions to the clients and the delivery team.
The minimum requirements of an applicant are:-
• Experience in working in the Social Housing sector
• Degree qualification (preferred but not essential)
• Experience of working with NHF schedule of rate
• Full UK driving licence
• The drive to learn and succeed
