Job Description

Client: My client are a Main Contractor who have been established for 90+ years and operate from their Head Office in Hertfordshire covering counties including: Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Cambridge, Essex and also work within the M25. They have a current turnover of £48M and operate on sectors including: Education, Healthcare, Residential & Public Sector. Role: My client are looking for a Contracts Manager who can operate on projects from initial tender through to PC incorporating: planning, programming, design, management of client, H&S and the day to day running of their jobs. You will be responsible for circa £8M - £10M worth of construction projects at varied stages. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years’ experience as a Contracts Manager operating across sectors which include: Residential, Education, Healthcare, Commercial, Industrial & Public Sector works. Project values will range from £250,000 - £4.5M. You will be reporting into a Construction Director. Responsibilities: • Tender • Planning • Programme • Design • Client Management • Management of Professional services team • H&S • Day to day running of jobs In Return: In return my client are happy to pay a competitive salary of up to £70,000 + Package (Car / Car Allowance, Travel, Pension, Medical, Discretionary bonus)
