Site Manager Fit Out

About this Role: My client is immediately looking for an experienced Site Manager to work on the finishing stages of this steel frame 8 storey student accommodation project to manage the fit out and internals packages on site. About the Company/Client/Project: The role is with the project team at reporting to a Senior Project Manager (not on site) to look after a section of works on this £ 25 mill major project running for the next 9 months. Dealing with the internal fit out contractors from dry lining to M+E and specialist ceilings/interior finishes. Managing the quality and dealing with the programmes and technical issues from test inspection plans and weekly meetings to the out on site management and health and safety of the contractors as required. Reporting to the Project Manager for the scheme over the coming months you will be the number one on site for all fit out packages tasked with the management of subcontractors works on this complicated build with fit out of a number of areas all live at the same time so sub contactor coordination and driving the programme is key as there will be 100s of members of staff on site at any point Applicants must have up to date CSCS SMSTS and 1st aid as well as experience on building projects in excess of £10 million with a good understanding of the fit out and finishing stages of the project rather than civil engineer and larger structural and heavy construction parts of the job. This is an immediate start for the right suitably qualified candidate and with ongoing work on this scheme potentially and a number of projects being awarded in the area. Requirements including certificates and Qualifications: Ideally degree qualified or experienced Engineer, HNC/ONC or trades background you will have previously worked for main contractors on sites in a team on schemes in excess of £5 million and with up to date CSCS, SMSTS and first aid.
