Quantity Surveyor - Housing - £45,000 + Bonus

Quantity Surveyor - New Build Housing - North West I am currently looking for an ambitious driven Quantity Surveyor with new build residential experience. My client is a well established and respected residential house builder and following recent growth and acquisition, they are rapidly becoming known as one of the top house builders across the North West. With a solid order book for 2017, this is a fantastic opportunity to establish yourself with one of the leading house builders in the region. Responsibilities: * To manage four to five sites from conception to completion * Ability to measure quantities from drawings * Monitor and review procurement - including placing subcontract orders and ensure they arrive on time and within budget * Processing sub-contractor applications * Sending out tender enquiries analysing tender costs * Negotiating variations * Monthly CVR's & sub contract liabilities * Preparation, submission and agreement of interim applications for payment * Processing sub contract payments and agreeing final accounts * Value engineering * Monitoring and managing risk Requirements * New build experience preferably residential * Can do attitude * Good knowledge of Building Regulations and technical requirements as well as all aspects of the contracting process. * To ensure multiple projects are delivered on time and within budget. * Ability to hit the ground running This is a great opportunity with a fantastic employer.
