Job Description

Our Client a busy main contractor requires an Estimating Administrator with the ability to work on their own initiative to provide support to a team of 6 in a demanding and fast moving environment. You will be responsible for managing Mechanical & Electrical supplier / manufacturer quotations, distributing to tendering subcontractors, organising and preparing new correspondence and sub-contractor quotation files, copying all folders, drawings and documentation for handover to project team and updating the Estimating Database on a daily basis with new / updated information. Additional responsibilities would include checking Tender Packages received from consultants to ensure that all parts are included as stated archiving tender documentation as instructed and ensuring internal listing is updated appropriately and monitoring sub-contractor performance against a set criteria. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, methodical, and proactive in their approach to the work, must be very IT literate with a strong personality, excellent organisational and interpersonal communication with the ability to multi-task working in a fast paced office environment whilst meeting strict deadlines.
