Intermediate Quantity Surveyor

An Intermediate QS opportunity has arisen to join the expanding team at Hinkley Point, to be part of the prestigious £203 million contract over the next 10 years.You will have a minimum of 18 months post universtiy knowledge with a passion to advance your career. Reporting to the Senior Quantity Surveyor,the prime function is to increase value,reduce cost,drive profit and manage risk in a safe and ethical manner of the contract(s) they are working on.This collaboration and partnering approach has led to the creation of a new revised and expanded enabling works remit, which uses the much improved NEC form of contract.Their work includes substantial excavation of more than 5.5 million cubic metres of material, large scale earthworks, complex terracing structures and the creation of an expansive road network
