Head Of Partnership - Energy Schemes Location: London Salary: £88,000 + Package Position: Full Time, Permanent The key purpose of this role is to assume overall responsibility for the general management, including operational and financial performance, of energy schemes in London, including our flagship scheme and to deliver growth for these schemes through densification and strategic planning. There are a number of key outputs for the successful candidate to deliver, including:- * A member of the leadership team of the Urban Energy segment with Energy Solutions, the incumbent will play a key role in contributing towards the growth and development of the business * Responsibility for the Safety, Results, Growth and Customer delivery of the partnerships contracts within scope, including the commercial and financial elements, and leading, directing and motivating the team to exceed client expectations in service delivery, whilst maintaining and improving account profitability * Managing a P&L, and maintaining EBIT, ROCE, IRR and working capital in line with budget * Identifying and delivering new customer connections to the District Heating and Cooling schemes * Assessing, defining and implementing the key objectives to optimize performance of plant whilst retaining reliability * Effective leadership of a skilled regional team of circa 20 staff, with responsibility for financial performance, operational excellence, strategic investments, projects and business development * Seeking out new opportunities to drive growth and maximize contract offerings * Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with our key stakeholders and partners including developers and land owners, local authority, suppliers and business partners. * Acting as a role model whilst promoting core competencies and behaviours * Well-developed commercial and financial acumen with experience of managing a P&L * Management of customer relationships, and with business partners, to ensure sustained growth * Experience of delivering excellent sustained performance to demanding and complex customers * Experience of contributing effectively as part of a broader business leadership team * Experience of developing and motivating a highly skilled team Qualifications * Knowledge of district heating and cooling network development and operations * Previous experience of managing a P&L * Ability to build positive relationships at all levels * Experience of managing complex commercial negotiations * Strong presentation, influencing and motivational skills * Excellent attention to details and understanding of risk * Collaborative and an effective team player * Excellent business development ability, with keen awareness of potential opportunities * Adaptable and influential in diverse environments * Ability to use standard software packages e.g. MS Office, to an advance level * Degree level in a relevant technical subject (e.g. mechanical or energy engineering) or equivalent experience * Driving Licence essential
