VAC-303519 Site Manager Heywood New Build Housing - Build to Rent / Affordable Housing Temporary to Permanent £20.00 - £22.00 per hour whilst temp / £47,000 permanent + Car Allowance/ Company Car The Company A local development company who specialise in building new houses for the affordable housing sector are actively recruiting for an experienced Site Manager. Due to growth and new developments starting, this business are looking to recruit an additional experienced Site Manager to work on a development in Heywood. With 12 live sites in the Manchester region alone, this business are currently in a massive growth period, with an additional 3 sites due to start in Manchester, alongside 12 additional live sites in the Liverpool region - therefore this is an exciting time to join a growing business. The Role Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will be directly responsible for a development of 100 + Units, all timber frame houses, specifically for the build to rent market. You will be joining the site from day one and be directly responsible for managing the day to day activities and delivering completion at the end of the development. Some duties and responsibilities will include: " The management, co-ordination and delivery of the project, operatives, subcontractors, materials and for ensuring that it runs to the agreed timescales " Monitoring team performance for both direct and subcontractor employees " Production of weekly reports against forecast " Provide a safe working environment by adhering to the correct health and safety procedures It is essential that the successful Site Manager has a strong background in completing new build housing projects, ideally for the open market. In addition you will be immediately available and happy to commit to a temporary to permanent contract. You will also be experienced in completing Timberframe houses. To qualify for this position the successful Site Manager must possess the following: " SMSTS " First Aid " CSCS Card " Scaffold Appreciation " NHBC Award experience. " Trade background or relevant degree qualifications (Or equivalent) " New Build Housing experience. As a Site Manager you will be an integral part of the team and responsible for the completion of your own site in Manchester. Following a successful temporary contract, you will be working towards a permanent position with a salary of £47k + a company car/ car allowance.
