Architectural Technician Shipley £25k - £30k An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Architectural Technician to join a rapidly expanding retail team, within a well-established Architectural consultant in West Yorkshire. The successful candidate will an experienced Architectural Technician/Technologist, with a minimum of 3 years` demonstrable experience in the development and delivery of food and non-food retail companies. Working closely with the senior team you will be delivering retail extensions and new builds from building regulation stage to completion on site. The successful candidate must have a detailed knowledge of all current Building Regulations and associated legislation along with a sound knowledge of all forms of construction. You must be proficient with AutoCAD with an intermediate level of knowledge with Sketchup and Adobe Photoshop. Experience with REVIT would be advantageous. JOB ROLE Supporting the Senior Architectural Technologists & Technical Director to promote the highest standards of retail design & technical solution with the use of client design standards. To produce working drawings for pricing and construction purposes from planning drawings/tender packages supplied by our key clients. TO INCLUDE: - Produce working drawings for pricing and construction - Obtain Building Regulation approval with approve inspector. - Ensures Building Regulation conditions are discharged promptly - Liaise with client to enable discharge of planning conditions. - Liaise with all external consultants. - Liaise with site and questions arising from work progressing on site This position offers the right person the potential to progress their career within a forever growing practice.
