Site Manager

Our client is a West Midlands based developer who is committed to building high quality homes. Their houses range from two bed starter homes to luxury properties and bespoke developments. Our client is a growing company looking to expand and as such they are looking for a Site Manager who has the experience and desire to potentially become a contracts manager in the future. Reporting to the construction director, you will take complete responsibility for each project from site setup to completion. You will ensure safety and quality are upheld, liaising with the client, subcontractors and suppliers, keeping a detailed site record and organising materials whilst managing the staff on site. We are looking for the best freelance Site Managers to start as sooon as possible for a 2 - 3 week contract; you will have experience of being the lead Site Manager on larger developments, experience on building a range of properties. To be successful in the role you will have previous experience as a Site Manager on large scale residential projects, you will possess excellent communication skills, the ability to manage a budget and good problem-solving skills. It is an essential requirement of the role that the successful applicants hold SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certificates. It is also desirable that you hold membership of a recognised professional body, be educated to degree level or equivalent and have previous experience in a similar role.
