Mechanical Fitter £17 PH

Kilkern are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Fitter to start work within the Northampton area. We are recruiting on behalf of a leading Civil Engineering and Tunnelling company that are one of the largest privately owned companies in the UK. Key Responsibilities: - Install mechanical equipment to water treatment works to our clients standards. - Work closely as per risk assessments and method statements to make sure health and safety is strictly adhered to at all times - Ensure following of all Company and client rules - Actively engage with management in the planning, organizin and delivery of work Assist team leaders with day to day operations on site - Identify site issues and report to team leaders to ensure resolution Person Specification: The successful candidate is likely to meet all of the following criteria: Essential - Significant experience within a mechanical fitting background and of pumps and pipe installations - CSCS card - First aid training - Manual handling - Water hygiene card - Excellent communication skills Self-motivated team member Enthusiastic and ambitious personality Clean driving licence Desirable; - Pipefitting/welding experience - SSSTS qualification  If interested, please apply and one of our consultants will call you back.
