Freelance Site Agent - Highways & Roads North West Due to an increase in workload My client a reputable Main Contractor are looking to add an experienced Freelance Site Agent to their Roads & Drainage Division based in the North West. The Site Agent will be responsible for overseeing all Civil Engineering activities including Staff, Procurement, financial control and Health and Safety on site Ensuring the project runs to programme and budget with the assistance of a Full time Project manager. The specific project is a Local Authority Road Project including, earthworks, drainage, kerbing and tarmac, there is also a new bridge that will cross this road to be built. My Client are looking for someone with established experience within the Site Agent Role with at least 2 years experience working on SPECIFICALLY Highways and Bridges Projects. Responsibilities: - Monitoring all Civil Engineering activities - Reviewing Project Programme & Budget - Procurement of Materials - Quality Assurance - Health & Safety - Developing project forecast - Risk Management - Client interface This is an exciting opportunity to join a reputable main contractor with a healthy order book and interesting projects.
