Asbestos Consultant/Surveyor - Scotland

We are now recruiting for our client, a well-established and growing company who are seeking the services of a competent, committed and reliable Asbestos Consultant/Surveyor in Scotland, they will consider applications from South Lanarkshire, East Kilbride and the surrounding areas. Qualifications & Experience: Ideally, the applicant must have attained the P402, or the equivalent RSPH,, although holding the P405 or other qualifications would be beneficial, as well as having extensive experience working within this role and within the asbestos industry. Must have good communication skills, both written and verbal, and will be proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package. Role Will Encompass: Carrying out asbestos management, refurbishment and demolitions surveys on various buildings. Collating comprehensive asbestos reports which would include plans, risk assessments, etc. Updating survey reports, etc. making recommendations and getting involved with action plans. Carrying out asbestos samples and sending to laboratory for analysis. Overseeing asbestos contractors and ensuring that they carry out the work in accordance with the Health & Safety procedures with regards to asbestos. Ensuring work is carried out effectively and within time line. Liaising with clients at all levels. Attributes: Ideally, applicants will be flexible, have a good work ethic, the ability to work independently, and carry out the work effectively and within timeframe.
