Project Manager (Structural Steel / Powerstation)

PROJECT MANAGER (SITE BASED) - STRUCTURAL STEELWORK / POWERSTATION CONTRACT £280.00 - £350.00 per day (6 months) STR's client is a leading Structural Steelwork Fabricator, with great heritage and a proven track record of delivering structural steelwork and associated building materials to the the Petrochem/Nuclear industries. Due to continued growth there is an opening for a site-based Project Manager to join the business. This is a site based role, working within a NAECI governed powerstation, converting from coal-fired to Biomass. MAIN DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES - Manage day to day operational aspects of the project - Daily/weekly planning and monitoring against master programme of works, utilising MS Project. - Sub-contract and direct labour control and management - Maintain site records, in accordance with company procedure and the Quality Assurance programme - Maintain the highest levels of Health and Safety QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE CSCS Card, SMSTS and First Aid. Appointed Person qualification would also be a distinct advantage. Experience of working in within the structural steel industry is essential, and you will have worked worked under the blue book/Naeci agreement.
