Surveyor

My client is a provider of Social Housing, based in Wiltshire. Due to an increased workload, they require a Surveyor on a 6 month fixed term contract to assist the existing Surveyors in the maintenance of Social Housing properties across the region. Responsibilities: - Carry out pre inspections of domestic properties in order to identify maintenance requirements. - Carry out post inspections of properties to ensure work has been carried out to an appropriate standard - Conduct surveys housing stock in line with the organisation's policies and procedures - Carry out stock condition surveys to collect data for future maintenance programmes. - Manage works related to stock condition surveys and property inspections within agreed financial limits - Ensure compliance with all statutory, legislative and health & safety requirements. Qualifications: 1. The ideal candidate will be educated to HNC level in Building Studies or in a related field of construction. 2. Experience in Social Housing is desired
