Asbestos Manager

An Asbestos Manager is required to join an established asbestos and demolition removal contractor working in the South West. As Asbestos Manager you will oversee projects ensuring all sites run efficiently and in compliance with HSE regulations at all times. Responsibilities will include: - Project estimating, tender submissions and pricing quotations - Overall management of asbestos projects - Supporting Site Supervisors for the effective running of sites - Production of Plans of Works, Safe Operating Procedures and document manuals - Responsible for all regulation updates, ensuring compliance - Provision of technical asbestos advice to senior management - Preparation of monthly reports to management - Health & Safety responsibilities, including policies, procedures auditing and monitoring - Oversee training and required HSE certification Package: Salary negotiable depending on experience circa £50k - £55k. Job Requirements Candidates must have strong technical knowledge of asbestos removal, asbestos regulations and health & safety with proven experience in Project Management. Relevant qualifications required including, Asbestos Contracts Manager, IOSH and/or NEBOSH. Knowledge and qualifications of Surveying and Sampling would be beneficial
