Project Manager - London - Construction Consultancy A rare and exciting opportunity to join the Project Management team of a leading Project Management and Quantity Surveying Construction Consultancy. The Project Manager will be heading up and helping run High - End Residential Projects in and around the City. The Company The successful Project Manager will be joining a Consultancy offering Quantity Surveying and Project Management Services. My Client is one of the leading project management and quantity surveying practices in the South East. They are currently ranked within the top 100 fastest growing consultants and the top 100 financial performers by the Building Magazine Survey and have been involved in the high end residential sector for the last 16 years. The Role As an Assistant Project Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the Senior Project Manager with the planning, management, co-ordination and financial control of a variety of construction projects. This will include assisting in project conception, developing the project brief, and advising on budgeting, site acquisitions and planning. You will also assist with developing project strategy and programming. Your duties will include:- - co-ordinating statutory authorities - arranging pre-commissioning, feasibility studies and report - arranging tender documentation, contractors and feedback monitoring - developing maintenance programmes and consultant's briefs - co-ordinating the design process - managing the construction process - managing the design consultants To be considered for this position, you must have experience gained within the building sector. Additionally, as an Assistant Project Manager, you will have excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with Clients, Consultants and Contractors. Our Client has a preference for candidates with a Quantity Surveying background or for candidates working towards a professional qualification, RICS, APM or similar.
