Do you want to work in Central London? On complex and challenging projects? My client have a central london office that concentrate on projects from £15-£60 million in central london. I am looking for a Senior Site Manager to work on a £15 million cut and carve project in central london.
This role as a Senior Site Manager is to be the number 2 on the site reporting into a Project Manager. The project is a cut and carve keeping an existing facade and taking the project to shell and core. It's a commercial office space with a client that this contractor do a lot of work with.
The salary is negotiable but the client has indicated that they would like to pay between £55,000 - £65,000 plus a car allowance of £5500, private healthcare, pension and a discretionary bonus that 95% of the company got last year.
The client are a East London based regional contractor with the majority of their work based all over the UK, although this Senior Site Manager position is to work for the Central London office where all of their work is based within zones 1-6. They work on projects from £15 - £100 million and work in the education, residential and commercial areas. This client has a proven track record of promoting people from within and put real effort into upskilling their staff and pushing people as far as they can career wise.
A Senior Site Manager duties will include:
* Being responsible for all health and safety on site
* Reporting into a Project Manager on a weekly basis
* Managing sub-contractors on a daily basis as well as pushing them and driving the project on
* Dealing with any design changes and working closely with the commercial and design team
* Pushing the project forward and getting the project built on time and to budget
* Effectively being the 'eyes and ears' on site
I feel this role would be suitable for a current site manager working for a larger contractor who has had enough of not getting recognised for their achievements. This company have a very high staff retention and treat their staff very well.
