VAC-303538 Site Manager Wirral New Build Housing Temporary to Permanent £20.00 - £22.00 per hour whilst temporary £38,000 - £45,000 per annum + car allowance + package on a permanent contract The Company Established since 2009, a growing construction company who operate across the North West and North East are actively seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their business on a temporary to permanent basis. With sites starting imminently in the Merseyside area, this business are looking for experienced Site Managers to join their operational team immediately to support from the start with new frameworks and joint venture sites. Working within these frameworks, this company operate within the New Build Housing sector, predominately within Affordable Housing however more recently they have successfully completed projects within the Open Market sector. The Role Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, your role will include the following: * The management, co-ordination and delivery of the project, operatives, subcontractors, materials and for ensuring that it runs to the agreed timescales * Monitoring team performance for both direct and subcontractor employees * Production of weekly reports against forecast * Provide a safe working environment by adhering to the correct health and safety procedures To be a successful Site Manager within this role, you will have a strong background in completing new build housing projects whether that is affordable or open market and will have a bias towards affordable housing. In addition you will be immediately available to start a contract as soon as possible. The first site you will be responsible for will be based in Wirral, a new build affordable housing development of 7 units. Following the completion of this site, each development will get larger and include more units as you get further into completing the works on the framework. To qualify for this position the successful Site Manager must possess the following: * SMSTS * First Aid * CSCS Card * Trade background or relevant degree qualifications (Or equivalent) * Asbestos Awareness/ Scaffold Inspection – advantage but not essential The Important Details This is a fantastic opportunity to get your foot in the door with immediate effect and a view to secure a permanent position with a growing business.
