Quantity Surveyor - New Build & Refurbishment: Role My client is a well-established Construction & Restoration Contractor, providing bespoke services to the high-end residential sector throughout the South East and London. Their expertise lies within large-scale projects including unique architectural constructions, heritage sites and listed buildings. Due to expansion and an influx of work in the pipeline, they are looking to appoint a proven Quantity Surveyor with experience held in new build & refurbishment, ideally having worked on luxurious properties. You will be joining the already-established team based in Shoreham-by-sea, West Sussex. Offering between £45K-£60K, along with company car and benefits package, not forgetting to mention an outstanding insight towards career progression within an up-and-coming company, this is an opportunity you will not want to miss! Quantity Surveyor - New Build & Refurbishment: Duties You will be responsible for but not limited to; * Prepare tender and contract documents with the architect and/or the client * Undertake cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work * Assist in establishing a client's requirements and undertake feasibility studies * Perform risk, value management and cost control * Advise on a procurement strategy * Identify, analyse and develop responses to commercial risks * Prepare and analyse costings for tenders * Allocate work to subcontractors * Provide advice on contractual claims * Analyse outcomes and write detailed progress reports * Value completed work and arrange payments * Maintain awareness of the different building contracts in current use * Understand the implications of health and safety regulations Are you seeking a fresh challenge within a fast-growing establishment?
