Senior Quantity Surveyor

We are working with an established civil engineering contractor that is currently engaged on interesting projects across the world. In the UK they have recently been very successful in securing a place on Network Rail’s CP5 framework. In order to ensure proper commercial delivery of this framework they are looking to employ 2 no. Senior Quantity Surveyors at their offices in Greater Manchester. It is envisaged that one of you will go onto a project to the North West of Greater Manchester and the other onto a scheme heading out towards Leeds. For this reason we’re interested in speaking to candidates throughout the North West. We are looking for candidates with good heavy civil engineering experience, rail sector knowledge is not an imperative although it would of course be an advantage. You should be comfortable working with MS Excel, have strong budgeting, forecasting and reporting skills, and be a pro-active worker capable of working on your own but not afraid to ask for help when it’s needed.
