Job Description
Currently working with a national house builder who deliver affordable, public and private housing and are looking to recruit a Site Manager in line with expansion for a New Site in County Durham
Duties:
Reporting to the Contracts Manager the successful applicant will manage the development of the site through to completion, ensuring that Programme, Quality and Cost targets are achieved in accordance with the build programme.
Responsibilities
• Co-ordinate trades, direct labour and materials to meet the production programme
• Ensure that all units are produced to a consistently high standard of quality
• Monitor Quality Control procedures and Customer Service procedures
• Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety and other relevant legislation
• Attend inspections by the Building Inspector
• Work with the Sales team
The Candidate
• Extensive experience of working within New Build Housing (both public and private)
• Assertive to ensure delivery of targets by on-site team and trades/labour.
• Ability to prioritise tasks to meet changing business needs, demonstrates strong problem-solving ability.
• SMSTS, CSCS, 1st Aid
• In depth knowledge of all aspects of the construction trade and the relevant legislative requirements
• History of Managing large Housing developments (100nr units +)
• Good reputation with NHBC
