PROJECT MANAGER - STRUCTURAL STEELWORK - LONDON Optima's client is one of the UK's leading Structural Steelwork Fabricators and due to continued growth there is an opening for a Project Manager to join the business. This is not a position that is suited to a purely site based Project Manager - It is a predominantly office based position, and therefore seeing the project through from inception to handover/completion. JOB PURPOSE Accomplishes project objectives by planning project activities; evaluating implementation and progress of project. MAIN DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES Create and deliver project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. Identify resources and assign responsibilities. Manage day-to-day operational aspects of the project(s). Ensures project documents are complete, current, and appropriately stored. Works closely with relevant stake holders to ensure effective and efficient implementation of the project(s). Understands basic revenue models and P/L; meets financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analysing variances and initiating corrective actions. Any other appropriate duties identified and allocated by management. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE CSCS card. Appointed Person (lifting operations) qualification would also be an advantage. Experience of working in within the structural steel industry is a necessity. Interested applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
