Job Description

Job title Co-ordinator Responsible to Service Delivery Manager Key relationships: Service Delivery Manager, Engineers, Operation Managers, Contract Managers, Administrators & Co-ordinators. Hours of work: 40 hours per week 8.00-5.00pm/8.30-5.30pm with 1 hour break for lunch Job Purpose: To enable the business to utilise their resources to deliver an efficient, dynamic Repairs and Maintenance service to all our clients. Main Duties & responsibilities: • To co-ordinate repair calls, planned works orders and engineers ensuring that deadlines are met and that customer service standards are met at all times • To ensure all appointments are made with the clients and that engineers have full working schedules • To check the paperwork that is generated by the jobs and ensure that any outstanding paperwork is chased before the job is closed down • To update customers during the service process to ensure that they are kept up to date with the progress of the work • To answer the department telephones and take messages if and when necessary • To assist in covering other duties as and when required in other areas of the department • To ensure all duties carried out follow our office Quality Management System • To carry out such duties of a similar level of responsibility as may from time to time be reasonably required • To undertake flexible and additional hours as may be reasonably required to meet the needs of the Company Qualifications required for the satisfactory performance of these duties: 1. Good influencing and persuading skills. 2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 3. Able to communicate effectively at all levels and in all mediums. 4. Willingness and flexibility. 5. Excellent knowledge and experience of all Microsoft Office applications. 6. Excellent ability to organize and prioritise workload effectively to meet targets. 7. High level of accuracy and tenacity. 8. Excellent team working skills. 9. Good problem-solving skills. 10. Quality focused approach – attention to detail. 11. Be empathetic and approachable. 12. Customer focused. At the discretion of the business: 1. Educated to GCSE level standard plus evidence of further study (relevant courses). 2. General PC awareness and excellent knowledge of the latest Microsoft PC applications. 3. Knowledge and experience of Housing and/or Finance software.
